Greetings, my friends. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we have bubbles older than 6 months. A big part of these sets are maps made by beginner mappers, who are stuck and can't find you and ask for help. We all know how hard it is to get our first maps ranked and how unpleasant waiting for bubble checks is, so I ask you to help us and take care of these old bubbles.

@Bakari: Additionally to what you said, many of these "new mappers" don't even ask for a BN check because they are too afraid or shy. Garven once told me to do it and that's what I did, I went through the list and helped a bunch of sets, however I have never ever heard of them nor the fellow BNs. This is more a thing that we, Beatmaps Nominators, have to deal with. We must check all the list and help these mappers no matter how. Even if they never ed us. Really encouraging of you to bring the topic into the Forums, Bakari!

Actually, I was thinking about this the other day lol.
However, it seems many bubbles were placed by already purged nominators. Accordng to p/4799841 , it is advised to rebubble instead... but that looks more like an infinite cycle to me?

Getting a rebubble for such sets is a good step forward, encourage them to somebody, suppport them! Even a simple bubble refreshment is a good thing for a set that's been dead frozen for months.

Also, I would like to see some QATs helping out, too. I myself might hop in and take a bubble or two, and I expect our beloved redname friends to do the same.

Just a tiny bit of motivation, for those of you, who care: you get 2 kudosu for helping out the maps, which haven't been modded in a while! So, if you're short on stars, this is a win-win for both the mapper and for you!

I have 109 stars left, no need to do it for that reason.
One question though, should we the mapper first and talk about it, or just start checking them?

Oh, great guys! I updated the list for better organization.

talking about old bubble, how about old 'popped' bubble? '-' i bet the mapper might give up already whether the popped bubble become abandoned after more than 1 month

if someone has a popped bubble for whatever reason they should get the one who popped it or the original bns to rebubble, if they can't do that there's probably more wrong with the set than described in the pop post alone or the original bns got kicked. Which is unfortunate, but making a list of all popped bubbles in graveyard will give you up to 8 year old maps which went to die for whatever reason.
Atm i don't have any idea how to filter these or how to automatically classify them to make a comprehensive list.

Aren't these maps technically bubbled? They are not displayed in the listings because they are graveyarded for some reason (graveyarding seemed to work different way back in time).

These maps were bubbled, afterwards nobody got to them. These are ignored by the system sa there are no posts with the bubble icons (as the BATs edited the main post). At this point there's nothing that can be done about that, except for pointing at old BATs and yelling at them for missing these.

Hello, guys! I'm reviving this thread because it's needed. Just to remind not only new BNs, but all of us, to check old bubbles. Recently, we've had an increment when it comes to bubbled maps.

You can click here to see all every single map that has been bubbled/popped and it's awaiting for another BN(s) to get pushed into the qualified section. Yes, there are a looooot, right?

It's time to start clearing/pushing these maps forward so they finally hit the rankings. Take dai - Hitomi as an example. It was popped around 7 months ago and still none of the involved BNs (only one of them is active right now) has been able to recheck it.
Time to start working on these sets, guys. Especially those that have been waiting for a re-bubble/heart for longer than a month.

Hello, it's me again. I thought it would be a great idea to actually revive this old thread because we need to take care of some mapsets that got bubbled/popped/disqualified a while ago. There are bubbles from more than 4 months ago, that's just insane. Anyone who can take a look into https://osu-ppy-sh.tvgratuite.org/p/bubbles and push some maps forward would be nice. I will be working with some for the next days.
