Does dl'ing the packs count as playing new maps, because lately I've been too lazy to go the Beatmaps section
You need to be active in the Ranking Chart Forums after you have been added to the CAT. How active you are elsewhere in the forum doesn't matter too much. But a bit of forum activity can be a good point to become a CAT anyway.Makyu wrote: 4iw5y
We must be active on forums?
just asking, may try to apply
Damn it Makar, stop dodging my question, I don't feel any sense of satisfaction at all from that answer.Makar wrote: 441t17
How would somebody nominate maps for monthly charts if they don't play the new ones? (:Zexous wrote: a3n2q

Alright, I'll be a bit more direct: It doesn't matter if you presently play new maps or not, but as you can tell, it is important for you to do this if you are added; nevertheless, if we see you currently actively play new maps, it will help us in choosing applicants.Zexous wrote: a3n2q

Also, an important role like CAT can be motivation for changing that behavior.
I think that shouldn't matter as long as even a proud grammar nazi understands what's written there.cheesiest wrote: 3t2335
shouldn't there be a space after the word "new" in the title?
Just do it and say in how far you want to improve and work on yourself.Harez wrote: 4z3b10
I'd want to apply but i thought i don't have any experience about that![]()

im talking about the fact that simply anybody can knock on the door and apply for a place in the chart team. a team which was supposed to resemble quality. it's now just a random bunch of people gathered around who vote for the maps they like most (like it already was, i was in it), but that will now simply tremble down even further. it's just sad to see that happen.Kingkevin30 wrote: 2g5w4g
do you mean the maps are getting worse or their just not well choosen?GladiOol wrote: 701r1j
sad to see the quality of these charts decent even further.

Is it possible to still apply and maybe be qualified if you don't play as heavily or have less time?
Only reason I ask this is because before my laptop died, I was playing like everyday. Now, I barely play as much since I'm borrowing another pc (a.k.a. playing while the pc owner is sleep).
Nothing is preventing you from sending an application :pOutsanity wrote: 4y3b6e

All you need is good mapping/playing experience, I guess. If you're able to tell why x or y map is awesome and should be on the chart, you pretty much have your chances.

It's not needed to have mapping or modding experience, yet recommendable to the CAT. If you're an experienced player, you should know what's fun to play and what not without having any knowledge of mapping.
Nevertheless having mapping experience is a plus that helps to distinguish what's good and not.
YunoFanatic, did you read the post carefully? Who cares about HOW MANY KUDOSU you have?YunoFanatic wrote: 5r2q4n
i might not be chosen QAQ i mod maps but i have no kodosu but you all got plenty QAQ
No modding experience is required, but it is a plus. All what you need are:
We are primarily looking for with a good amount of playing experience;I am not saying that you will be not accepted, but I can't really say that since April you have gained a lot of experience in a game.
Yep Thats Right The Application Will Be Messed If You Double App :3Sey wrote: 2k481v
You gonna see if that's enough when you gonna be accepted or not.
Most of the needed qualities are already described in that Thread and the OP. Just check it again if you feel unsure. But please avoid to write a 2nd application.

can i ask where is the form for registration..?
Indeed there's not a real limit. The more people who can help, the better. That doesn't mean everybody who applies there will be selected, but only the people who really deserve it.Marcin wrote: 1u1j
There is probably no limit - they take people which are just good for this position.
