I started last night making some scraps with my tablet and photoshop
this is the one I'm going to use for base
right now I'm done with the first step, after making some more details and cleaning up I'll start vectorizing so its a more clear drawing, coloring and composing a background for it also adding some elements.

No, it is usually done to highlight (usually damp or more moisturized) sections of hair. The "wavy" effect is just a lazier way of approximating this effect. I am aware that I occasionally do this. It's because I'm lazy.Derekku Chan wrote: r91v
