00:04:628 (1) - This curve is rather sharp for such a short slider. Smooth it out a bit
00:43:610 (2) - Looks smoother if you position the points like this:
01:13:071 (3,4) - Raise these 1 pixel so that they're evenly spaced between the 1 and 2
01:38:940 (4) - See if you can adjust this like the previous slider I gave a screenshot for to smooth it out a little.

Fixed all of the above in Garven's mod for Normal (TS) and Hard (SS) (and tags added!). Now waiting for rickyboi to make the changes before updating the beatmap set.

I can't SS this on AR 8 but I can on AR 9. There are even maps with lower bpm that have AR 9. Please let's not fight over this since I've asked so many player's opinion on this as AR 9 and they all said it was fine to them.
So the opinions of BATs and other staff don't matter? I modded this on AR8 because your general velocity was too low for AR9. I wouldn't suggest the change otherwise.

Where did this even came from? I never said that. What I was trying to point out was the BAT's and other players opinion on this is not a hivemind. Of course some would think this is good on AR 8 but some players would even want to play this more on AR 9. I'm sorry but I'm more of an AR 9 player.

This map has 165 bpm and has the same slider velocity as mine which is 2. This got ranked without even arguing with Lunatic being on AR 9.
The opinion thing is because you cite "friends" that didn't say anything about the AR, but when people that are recognized for their experience in modding maps say something, suddenly that opinion is worth much less in comparison as shown with your response.

As for that map you cite, wow, that has unrankable speed changes, haha. Oh well. I'd argue that one would have AR8 as better too, but I didn't do a full test. Anyway, that's a different map compared to yours with different flow and patterns. For the map you have created here, AR8 fits the pace and patterns better.

This so much. AR8 makes it feel really slow and boring to me. It feels like the map loses it's flow especially on streams. Please keep it AR9!
AR9 is good. Bpm isn't slow (167's enough for AR9 imo) and ricki's diff the hardest diff in the mapset..
AR9 is much easier to read with these patterns.
I have to say about this map I've looked into both ARs.

This is one of those times where I wish there was an AR 8.5.

8 is too slow and 9 is a bit too fast, but as it seems players seem to prefer AR9.

So, while I'd discuss this further the map feels slightly more right towards AR9, but that's only because there's no 8.5.

I tried the map with both AR 8 and AR 9 and IMO AR 9 fits the map better. The patterns also felt awkward with AR 8, but that might be because I've played too much hr today. Nonetheless I feel that AR 9 would be the best choice.

I just sightread it on AR9, and it seemed to fit perfectly fine.
It's 167BPM, with a relatively high SV, decent jump spacing, and a few streams/triples spread about the map.

For reference: I played the map only once with both AR 8 and 9. Had a higher accuracy (97% vs 94%) and an easier time hitting the triangle jumps with AR9. I'd prefer the map with AR9 and I'm sure most people would.

AR is completely subjective anyway. I'm sure there are people who'd like to slap AR10 on everything as well as people who'd prefer lower ARs. I'm also sure most people would prefer AR9 for this map. There's also no rule that you have to use the most preferred/"most fitting" AR. AR can be used as an extra challenge too. I think that's completely up to the mapper.

I'm getting tired of this. There's no such thing as a perfect AR in the first place. Not everyone's eyes are the same as yours. Ever since the "1 type of AR = 1 difficulty" was introduced, this game has lost its balance. Both AR 8 and 9 are definitely playable. If you think AR 8 fits the pace and patterns better then I will respect that but please try to respect the players who want to play this on AR 9 as well because I really think this fits better on AR 9. Just because you're a "BAT" doesn't mean what you're saying is correct and no one is because AR is totally subjective. The AR doesn't change anything from the map and gameplay. It's just how people see and play it. Debating with me especially with a VERY SENSITIVE topic such as an "APPOACH RATE" is not going to end well if we keep this up.

This is just going to be a battle of AR8 vs AR9 players
For me, both AR8 and AR9 are good enough to play and read
and the Diff mapper want to stick to use AR9
then there's no reason to force the mapper to use AR8
Mapping is actually the act drawing the mapper's mind
why are you forcing? it's not your diff and even unrankable

Someone here said that way back in the previous mods, but I'm not 100% sure since it's only mentioned regarding difficulty spread in the Ranking Criteria.

Also the maps have been updated :)
That's not unrankable,many ranked map have over than 3 star rating for easy diif and you normal is really easy playable.

the deadline is "the lowest diff should be shown no more than 3 stars" but not lower than 3.00 star rating.
