You just type them in the skin.ini just put SliderTrackOverride: with the rgb value you want under [Colors]remclean wrote: 41701c
I do not know how to make a command in a skin. Pls help.
You need to have a skin.ini file for that. Really shouldn't be too hard. Your thing probably got messed up because you changed the Version: in the skin.ini. A skin without a skin.ini uses Version: 2.5 I beleive, so if you make a skin.ini make sure to set thatBenTheBen wrote: 1u6p11
My skin doesn't have a "skin.imi" in the folder. Is there a way to modify the settings of the skin?
I attempted to a clean skin.imi, however it ruined the scaling of most assets.
I'm looking to specifically resize the "columnwidth" for osu!mania 4k.
What you are refering to should be either hit lighting, which can be turned of in the options, or you are looking for instant fading hitcircles, for which you can find a guide here: https://tutorial.skinship.xyz/guides/insta_fade_hcGreyXRM wrote: 5r5464
How do I remove the hitting animations on the notes?
Did you make the image that has the numbers on it to big? If it is to big, then osu! will stop rendering it. I did the same thing a few days ago.JoshThePaladin wrote: z1m1o

Hi, Im pretty new to skinning scene, but are there any ways to make a gif/animated hp bar (scorebar) in game, I have some seen in some popular skins and wanna make a custom for my own. Regards. Thanks in advance!!

There are only a few elements that can be animated, but all follow the same scheme. Make each frame of the animation a seperate file, called scorebar-colour-0, scorebar-colour-1, and so onMcCreetard wrote: 73305r

The whole point of the hitcircleoverlay is to have a layer that is on top (an overlay) that is not affected by the combo colour. So no, neither of those are possibleremclean wrote: 41701c
2 things, 1. Can you have the hitcircleoverlay be hind the hitcircle? 2. If not, does the hitcircleoverlay get affected by combo color?
That's what I thought, but I was hoping one would work.RockRoller wrote: 5y132i

You need to change the AnimationFramerate in the skin.ini. Besure to read the part about animations in the tutorialMagiFire12 wrote: 125069
So, I just animated a new menu back button (in song selection), but the fps is too low. What do I name the images to make them go faster? or is that possible?
Oh, thank you. I didn't see anything about that in the tutorial. Thank you so much!RockRoller wrote: 5y132i

You made selection-mode-over too big. the over images define the hitboxesSklyzic wrote: 1l3do
So I made a skin and skinned the song select menu but if I move my cursor anywhere the skin acts as if I was hovering over the mode select itself.
Idk if I described it correctly or anything but here's a video showing it with an old skin and the new one: https://streamable.com/0kvpms

The skinning tutorial has been moved!
The character limit for forum posts and the fact that BBCode is an outdated language that doesnt have any good editors made me move the tutorial. You can find it and many other useful skinning related topics here:

Thx for help <33RockRoller wrote: 5y132i
You can change the colouring of hitcircles in any way you want basically. Just go into the skin.ini and set the Combo#: commandsadlek wrote: 4j5w64
I have a question. Can I set the skin so that all the circles are black and white, for example, or in shades of one color
I think it is select-difficulty, th oI havent touched sound skinning in quite some time and I am not 100% sure.PogchampWeak wrote: 56h5m
What is the sound called when you click on a map?
Some skins has a sound effect where once you load up a map it says "Good luck" something like that.

If you're asking about for mania, https://skins.osuck.net/, this is the one of the most helpful websites for skins.BlueSkilled wrote: 3r2d5w
how to change skin to circles?
You can start by watching youtube tutorials and using skin as practice. If you just want an arrow skin then here:JasonPlayz wrote: 5o3m2b
How can I make my mania keys into arrow keys?
You go to the directory where you installed osu and go to the Skins folder. Once there you can create a folder, name it, and put all the files from your skin there. If it doesn't show up in-game, try doing the skin refresh shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S).tylert528 wrote: 6j3ws
ok, but how to put the skins into osu!
This sounds like you may not have set the version in the skin.ini, please make sure that its set to 2.5AlanFir3 wrote: 40726d
Hi, sorry for the bother after many years, i'm in the making of my first skin, and I basically figured everything out, but there's one thing that I don't seem to understand: how do I move the song select menu?
I tried to create my own menu the only way i know how, and that is to make the selection-mode.png the actual menu, like in bacon boi from cyperdark, using the normal osu song select template and using the same image dimensions that work on the already mentioned bacon boi.
The placing was completely off so I tried to just copy paste the menu from bacon boi to my skin, the placing was still off, where did i mess up?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the nuisance Alan
thanks JustABeginner, in case one day I buy another laptop so that on that laptop I have osu and that I have all the skins that I have so I don't them anymoreJustABeginner wrote: 1i3411
Hi! Sure.
1.) Open osu! file location and open Skin subfolder.
2.) Copy all the skins you would like to put on.
3.) Do the same thing on another computer - open file location and go to Skin subfolder, and then paste the skins.
4.) "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Alt" + "S".

It seems not, since I have like 10 combo images... but in the standard game they appear but in the CTB they don't... and that's ugly because the CTB is my main game.Redo_ wrote: 3eig
