slideb-nd and sliderb-spec are both files that don't really work.
To change the slidertrack you need the skin.ini command SliderTrackOverride:

You just type them in the skin.ini just put SliderTrackOverride: with the rgb value you want under [Colors]

You need to have a skin.ini file for that. Really shouldn't be too hard. Your thing probably got messed up because you changed the Version: in the skin.ini. A skin without a skin.ini uses Version: 2.5 I beleive, so if you make a skin.ini make sure to set that

Did you make the image that has the numbers on it to big? If it is to big, then osu! will stop rendering it. I did the same thing a few days ago.

There are only a few elements that can be animated, but all follow the same scheme. Make each frame of the animation a seperate file, called scorebar-colour-0, scorebar-colour-1, and so on

Yes it totally can, which is why there is a few notes about that in the part about animations in the tutorial

So I made a skin and skinned the song select menu but if I move my cursor anywhere the skin acts as if I was hovering over the mode select itself.

You can change the colouring of hitcircles in any way you want basically. Just go into the skin.ini and set the Combo#: commands

Hello! Not to be a bother but I have a question. How do I change the character that pops up whenever you hit a lot of notes? (Example: When you catch a lot of notes in Osu!CTB, A character appears for a second) My skin is going to be universal for all modes, If that effects anything.

- taiko-flower-group(-#) for taiko

(Sorry if I get anything wrong I'm a little new to skinning myself)

So for example if "menu-back-0" and "menu-back-1" has the same image but are in different frames, you'll want to take away a frame of that duplicated image. Thus making the animation faster

(Because 2 of the same frames makes that split second longer, taking away 1 decreases the time it takes to finish)
If you don't have your animation setup up by duplicated images in different frames then try going into skin.ini, there will be "AnimationFramerate: 1". You'll want to change the number, if you know anything about FPS/Frame Per Second you should do just fine adjusting the framerate,

but just incase you don't know, there's 12 - 60 frames for a normal animation, but you can go lower than 12 and higher than 60.

-Lower = Slower
+Higher = Faster

You go to the directory where you installed osu and go to the Skins folder. Once there you can create a folder, name it, and put all the files from your skin there. If it doesn't show up in-game, try doing the skin refresh shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S).

Open your current skin folder and find a file "mania-stage-right". Open an editing software and open the file that I told you to find. Create a blank canvas at the right of it and you can then paste your megumin picture there. Save changes and reload your skin.

Copy the skin elements from the current skins - since it's about mania part you just need to find every filename that has the word mania, and then transfer them into the other skin you like.

Hi, sorry for the bother after many years, i'm in the making of my first skin, and I basically figured everything out, but there's one thing that I don't seem to understand: how do I move the song select menu?
I tried to create my own menu the only way i know how, and that is to make the selection-mode.png the actual menu, like in bacon boi from cyperdark, using the normal osu song select template and using the same image dimensions that work on the already mentioned bacon boi.
The placing was completely off so I tried to just copy paste the menu from bacon boi to my skin, the placing was still off, where did i mess up?

This sounds like you may not have set the version in the skin.ini, please make sure that its set to 2.5

It seems not, since I have like 10 combo images... but in the standard game they appear but in the CTB they don't... and that's ugly because the CTB is my main game.

Catch has it's own comboburst files. Read what the wiki says and you will get them working.

Change Colour#: in your skin.ini [Mania] config to some RGB(a) value where the a is 0.

The # represents the lane number starting at 1.
