  1. 00:21:952 (1) - 1/12拍之后就接串,感觉有点坑,这里已经相当于260bpm的1/4了,建议少一个reverse
  2. 00:36:345 (2,1) - 这里间距可以再大一点,否则较于这里00:35:999 (2,1) - 就有点小了。
  3. 01:30:623 (1,2) - 这个间距不合适吧?之前这么大也就1/4拍。
  4. 01:54:207 (1,1) - 这个怎么读都是1/6的...你可以试试把这个换成1/8的滑条,这样会好读一些,否则这下节奏变化就太突然了。

  • 这个难度的话...感觉就是很套路的那种,本身没什么问题,不过就是在这个spread上好像不太合适,串太长了,而且有些让新人砸键盘的滑条遮挡,比如01:37:559 (1,1) - 01:00:103 (6,1) - 等等,所以我建议 @一抹多 再加个送分的insane来补spread,如果你也觉得需要的话我可以来做一个。顺便这个难度的看起来像blanket的基本都能再包得更好一点。

  1. 00:17:097 (1,3) - 感觉这么搭配贼难看啊orz 把下面的撸直吧。

Main Issues 2q4369


  1. 01:01:480 - SV here is set to be equal to the SV in kiai time and this makes me wonder: is the song so intense here to warrant such big spacing and SV? Disclaimer: nope.
    I believe you should reduce SV for this section to better express the song. The same goes for spacing: it should be shorter, like... 01:02:520 (4,1) - wut ?.?
    This applies to both the highest diff in the mapset. The Extra GD actually has a tiny difference of x0.10 in SV with the kiai time, but let's be honest: it is not noticeable enough to convey the proper feeling
  2. 00:22:636 - let's take the stream part now.
    I don't plan on telling you to remove the stream, don't worry, but the way it gets represented is too... random? Let's say that it is a bit hard to follow if I listen to the song properly.
    On the highest diff:
    1. 00:25:064 (1) - this was supposed to be a turning point (that's why you have the NC) on the piano note, but there is not difference here, everything is just flowing so there isn't enough impact to make that piano note noticeable in gameplay
    2. 00:25:931 (7,1) - both are identical piano notes, so I would expect identical objects
    3. there are obviously a lot of parts where you could do that but I won't list them all
    4. last thing about the stream is how spacing changes here and there. I may missing something or just misinterpreting, because I sort of get a feeling you changed spacing based on the piano notes' pitch. If that's the case I'd say that skipping some piano notes or not expressing them properly makes this effect drop.
      If you weren't following anything in particular in the song I would say you should keep some consistency across this whole stream since it doesn't really change over time
    On Kaedeka's diff:
    1. the stream is nice in consistency since it uses the same spacing, so that's a bonus
    2. piano here is getting even more ignored tho. Even if it is clearly audible it doesn't get any emphasis at all, it gets treated as a background instrument, lol
    On PinkHeart's diff:
    1. I don't have much to say apart from the fact it is really cramped. Maybe increase SV and add a tiny bit of DS too, because it is really too short compared to the next diff in the spread
  3. 01:33:561 (2,3,4) - the higest diff presents some really awkward diff spikes across the kiai time.
    One of those examples is this triplet, which is suddenly spaced way more than any other thing in the map till now.
    Please do mind diff spikes and try to avoid this stuff.
  4. General notice that the white combos are hella hard to play. Even if you put a warning in description that doesn't help much in gameplay. The way they get introduced is similar to a normal 1/2 snap (or even worse, smaller than a 1/4 snap 01:33:561 (2,3,4) - <.<"). Later on you even change drastically their spacing and it becomes like a jump: 01:48:301 (2,3,4) - 01:53:850 (2,3,4) - .
    I must tell you that is really unpredictable and as a player I wouldn't expect such a big change out of nowhere.
  5. Talking about the Insane, the first kiai as a strangely short spacing in the first kiai. Once it starts you don't even get that "punch" a kiai should give since spacing is too similar to before. Add some more punch to it please
  6. Always on Insane, the flow is really disregarded in some places.
    You should try thinking at how mouse players will play this more than tablet players, since at this level many players will still be playing with mouse.

  7. some rhythms on the Hard are too dense:
    1. 00:02:174 - you could really avoid this. Making 00:01:827 (4) - just a circle would be the best
    2. same in the other similar places ^
    3. 00:09:804 (2) - if you follow piano don't suddenly switch over vocals, it just feels like you overmapped the piano this way
    4. 01:02:001 (2) - if you remove this you keep more focus on vocals, otherwise it feels like you're overmapping them instead
    5. there are other places but I'll add them in the additional modding below
  8. I noticed this mainly on the Hard diff, but I believe that any map can always gain from this:
    structure is a bit poor and I mean more visually than rhythmically here.
    For example take from the Hard... 00:25:411 (1,2,3,4,1) - 00:28:185 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - 00:30:266 (3,4,1) - 00:36:509 (1,2,3,1) - and so on, and I try to explain why are those objects there and placed like that. As far as I can analyze things, they are there just because "they felt good that way and that's it", but I'd rather see some more thought put in that.
    Idk what is this song talking about or from what work is, but you can make up some themes for your map based on that sort of knowledge. If not, try to at least make it a clean map, by using some more mirrored or non-contradicting shapes.
  9. Let's switch onto the Normal diff
    First thing which comes to my mind is how rhythm in certain parts is really random, as in "it ignores the song".
    Take 00:15:353 (2,3,1) - . The way you mapped this vocals (the main instrument in this part) are getting ignored.
    What about: 00:15:353 - circle; 00:15:700 - 1/1 slider; 00:17:087 - 1/1 slider?
    There are some parts ahead too, but I might as well make a mod for this I guess
  10. The other thing really noticeable on this diff is the amount of overlaps.
    There are too many for a Normal diff being the lowest of the set imo: 00:26:104 (2,4) - 00:30:266 (5,1) - 00:33:041 (5,1) - 01:15:353 (1,2) - 01:26:104 (4,3) - (not so noticeable, but it is still there and it's a bi ugly) 01:43:619 (2,1) - 01:44:833 (1,1) - 01:51:942 (2,3,4) - (come on, this is really ugly to be seen D:)
  11. on a general note, the Normal has a really cramped kiai time. You might need to use a larger DS

234 are arranged to produce a quick turning-around pattern to change the velocity from 12 into angular velocity, and then jump between 34 could emphasis the music on 01:47:087 -
01:48:648 (1,2,1) - is a copy of this flow.

fix those rhythm in the first part, but keep 00:09:804 (2) - to have a better consistency;
keep 01:02:001 (2) - to make rhythm more comfortable, ah I mean I'd like to make it dense here;
as for the second part, I don't think patterns are poor, at least I avoid overlapping and use some mirrored pattern like 00:25:411 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - copy paste, 00:30:960 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - mirrored, to make it clean as far as possible, with the repeated rhythm, ah but from 00:33:734 - I intended to make them not mirrored to perform the rhythm change.
if I failed to make it clean, that means I'm noob rather than I put little thought xd

    In this case, you have too many 1/2 beats, and as such you don't focus the player's attention on anything specific.
    For example 01:16:740 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - seems like following vocals, but 01:16:913 (2) - is in the way and distracts my attention while playing
  7. The rest of the map is either lack of contrast for rhythm or lack of structure for aesthetics and I honestly can't make a whole bunch of links just like that. In general it needs more thought imo

    What I mean by that is that it doesn't seem to me these jumps have any specific rule to be like that. Ok having intensity being expressed, but the whole thing is just... there to be there and nothing else. the current 1 is at the easiest place. placing elswhere would just increase unnecessary difficulty here and there. I don't really like unstructive patterns but sometimes they are good choices to do.
    This happens in other parts but it is pointless to point them all out

    Contrast is a handy technique that lets you focus the player's attention onto a specific sound or rhythm. To do so you have to remove objects from notes that just are in the way. The contrast between the breaks and the actual notes will create a stronger effect on the player.
    In this case, you have too many 1/2 beats, and as such you don't focus the player's attention on anything specific.
    For example 01:16:740 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - seems like following vocals, but 01:16:913 (2) - is in the way and distracts my attention while playing
    I just Faithful to the Accompaniment Rhythm. Didn't you hear the drum there? Listen carefully please, this part full of 1/4 accompaniment, even it hears a bit low contrast with vocal
  7. The rest of the map is either lack of contrast for rhythm or lack of structure for aesthetics and I honestly can't make a whole bunch of links just like that. In general it needs more thought imo
    I'm very interest in how you map this song for extra or other difficult diffs.
    But I map this song for a long time, I thought much more than you thought.

ok... there has been some misunderstanding perhaps.
My second post is the minor stuff about the mapset. It needs fixing for sure, but it's not so vital if you consider my first post.

From what I could see the spacing relation across the maps (the difference in speed between parts outside kiai and kiai time) didn't change almost at all. Please don't pretend to change SV by 0.1 and call it a day cause that's not noticeable at all.
Moreover the diff spikes on the last diff are still there...

Imo your map needs work yet and not from modders but from the mappers. Whether I mod again or not won't change much anyway I believe.

I would agree with MrSergio's judgement that this map is not suitable for ranking. Generally the map is way too over the top for such a calm song and I feel like allowing this to be ranked would be detrimental towards the improvement of maps in the ranked section. Both the Extra and the top difficulty have issues with spacing and aesthetics that I feel can be improved upon. If you need more detail as to what exactly I find wrong with the map, you can look at MrSergio's mod, or ask me directly for additional explanations and reasons for why I find issue with this map.

vocals don't really justify it cause vocals land a bit later there and it kinda fades in,

whole kiai is overly spaced 01:33:387 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - I'm pretty sure the majority would agree with this, notes like these being overmapped or barely audible while playing 01:34:255 (3) - overmapped, It feels like you are trying to compensate the lack of intensity in the song with hitsounds but it's just awkward.

to me it seems like the rhythm does switch focus a lot, but outside of the slider you highlighted at 01:24:370 (3) - it seemed very clear what the clicking followed. you can hear the strings focus on things like 01:27:492 (3,4) - or 01:29:746 (2,3,4,5) - and the strongest vocal downbeats were followed with extended sliders.

01:48:416 (3) - no beat here, why a spaced triplet? 01:48:416 (3) - is an added circle to make the 1/3 rhythm easier than having a 1/3 gap that is never repeated again in the map. everyone has different opinions on additive rhythm, but imo this is a decent use of it since it fits in the context of the song.

01:53:850 (2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4,5) - unplayable, mixing 1/3, 1/4, 1/2, 1/8 in the SAME section with plain circles one can play a map, but you can't, then you're just too weak. the different snappings are very clearly spaced differently, colorhaxed differently. besides, it actually does follow the song.

Also, this isn't playable. playable is very relative, yes you can't play it but you happen to be a 60k, i can play it fine. playability is only an issue with concerns to proportionality of difficulty within the map, which is the argument you should be bringing up if you want to mod this properly.

anyway i updated to fix some 'personal fix'... it seems like there are some misunderstanding between me and mrsergio so some fixes are not acceptable to me now. changed something back to make the latter progress more clearly.

For instance, it seems like you're mapping the piano-esq sound in the background but you're skipping beats such as 00:02:174 - when it is there rhythmically but 00:04:948 - isnt.
  2. 00:13:272 - skipped rhythm makes no sense and is only done for pattern consistency.
  3. 00:19:861 (1) - might want to stop this spinner on 00:21:249 - to avoid

I asked xexxar to help me gather his and MrSergio's points of current left popping reasons. So a clearer summary of the situation of the bubble-popping side may be given tomorrow. That would avoid more misunderstanding (well, that often show up with MrSergio) in the future I think.

There is some merit to what Xexxar is saying, though I think when you also map a song, you naturally become more biased towards how a song ought to be mapped, because the way you mapped it will naturally be seen as the "better" way to map. It's why I tend not to critique ppl who gd on my maps too much.

Haven't really taken a look at the higher diff yet, but if you guys are willing to discuss the issues presented without creating more drama, then I can help with the rebubbling process.

There is a lot more I could complain about aesthetically and why you do dumb 1/3rd jumps on such a calm song but I'll leave this as it is. This map is very ugly and I do not believe it to be meeting the quality expected of ranked maps as is. Having explained my point I hope you are satisfied for why I am popping this map.

I must point out you behavior makes many mappers hate you. You have a lot of ways to express your point of view but unfortunately, you choose the worst way to makes you look like a messy tiny. Many times you are asking someone else to follow your thoughts. However, no one can be the truth. You can't.
I also can post you some tirades into your maps with my subjective opinion just like what you have done before, say your maps are very ugly. but it never can be helpful. Subjective opinion too subjective would lose its meaning.
Please use reasonable means and respect others' opinions and feelings. This is the bottom line of life.
Unfortunately. Reflect on what you did before. You need to be a qualified person before you be a modder, mapper and BN. Not like a mapping police

The issues with this map are conceptual, not based on each individual note. The map is treading the line of sanity as to what constitutes "the music", for the sake of having long streams and high spacing. I can tell you're trying to be special and make the map emotionally powerful for both the player and any modders. But you can do special without being stupid. This map isn't special, it's stupid. There's a difference.

For example, for 00:22:636 - to 00:33:734 - , both the top diff and kaedaka's use an overmapped stream to help with the buildup, but they both do it in completely irrational ways - imoutosan just has streams with 1/8 sliders put for small breaks with no rhythmic purpose, while kaedaka's stream has 1/8 sliders that seem to be following the chimes but don't always follow them and the stream patterns are completely off?

The game's translated name is Istoria of Suisou Ginka. Istoria (as 'history') means the story of the game.

    changed some rhythms like 00:28:705 (7) - or 00:31:480 (7) - to follow the piano better. However kept the short slider in 00:23:850 (15,1) - to control the overall difficulty. As for difference of 00:26:451 (5,6,1) - 00:28:705 (7,8,1) - 00:31:480 (7,8,1) - , these streams are placed with slightly increasing spacing to show the tone. Rhythm differences are shown by NCs and hitsound so I think this is addressed.

Hey, I had a look at your highest diff and find some of the decisiond you made questionable regarding readability and the song.

00:30:960 (1) - How do you justify the spaced streams starting at this point? I see that you want to express the buildup but still, this is such a calm section and I could argue that personally to me this is one of the hardest spikes in the map.
01:33:561 (2,3,4) - This triple is barely audible in the music, why would you space it that much. I'd go for a really low spacing actually to reflect the music here.
01:39:630 (1,2,3,4) - This comes without proper introduction as it's the first 1/6 rhythm in the map and looks visually exactly the same as your other spaced 1/8 streams and triples which makes it very surprising when first encountered. I'd recommend you to use another spacing for 1/3 or introduce it properly with a slider first.
01:47:954 (1,2,3,4) - What happened here? Even though this is introduced by a 1/6 slider, this is nowhere close to intuitive as 01:48:416 (3) - is weirdly hiddden under 1 and 2,4 are closer to eachother. You never made a pattern like this before and suddenly expect people to be able to read it? I'd just go for normal spacing as the song doesn't even do something that special there.
01:51:596 (2,1) - Very small 1/2 spacing after giant jumps and a spaced triple following isn't a good idea here, I'd say. You had all this spaced 1/3 and giant jumps before which could make this easily misunderstandable. Also, I still don't get why you'd space it as giant.
01:53:850 (2,3,4,1) - And now we are switching back to 1/3 jump shenanigans? Basically the same as before, this comes out of nowhere and is extremely misleading.

Also due to your gigantic buildup jumps I dislike how some of the more important beats get less emphasis than some less important notes.
Moreover to be completely honest with you, I feel like this map was only made to be difficult without keeping the music and playability in mind at some points.
