As I progress in osu! i am beginning to notice that my movements and shaky and uncontrolled with a mouse, for example as I was playing Harumachi Clover (the 4.6 star one) i found it in replay that i was moving to the circles at the correct times however my mouse made it so that i slid off of the block, ultimately losing out on points.

If i am to get a tablet, what tablet would you recommend?

Perfomance rank A for cheaper (30-45$ new),
rank S for best tablets (40 - 90$ usd used often)

You really don't need to get a tablet if you feel like mouse is a good fit for you, but it doesn't hurt to try it if you have the money to spare.

Getting a table does not mean you will have an advantage over someone that is playing with mouse. They both have there advantages and disadvantages along side with your own personal comfort level.
Proof enough is there being 5 mouse players in the top 10

I feel with mouse my hand is very shaky, I will give tablet a try because I have some spare money. My friend got me into the game and he plays tablet, he was the one who said it might help with my shake during longer maps.

don't. feel. forced. to. buy. a. tablet.

you can do anything with a mouse, BUT, your dpi must be between 800 and 2000 to have good control and not slide, mouse drifting is a real issue and a gaming glove can and will fix it for you, stretch your finger/hands, don't play too much and get yourself a skin with instafade monochrome combos and a cursor that is in contrast with the circles.

if all fails and you still want to buy a tablet prepare to start over from the basics, holding a pen can hurt your wrist much more than holding a mouse and when the pen slips there's no saving it, you're done, it's a restart xD

Yea, defiantly worth giving it a good try if you have some money for it.
It honestly sounds like you have your dpi(sensitivity) to high if your playing with mouse and its shaking because that is usually one of the upsides to a mouse vs a tablet.
It could also be that you just lack the grip strength to perform during longer maps.
Just food for thought, gl

pretty much this but the dpi should probably only be around 400-1200 (on 1x)

Each to their own. I tried on a tablet once and I found the mouse to be easier to play with. As others said, try it out and find what works best for you.

Tablet comes with its own set of problems, if you've got only 18 hours on this game and already think about switching, you're likely going to regret the purchase of the tablet much quicker.

I bought a tablet few months ago just to sell it not long after because it's just really uncomfy and hard to get used to. If you want to try buying a tablet, try to find a cheap secondhand instead of buying a new one.

Wacom CTL-472 is probably one of the best, though! Not much problems with it when I played (only skill issues).
