My bursting and streaming is like rolling dice, been trying to play lower bpm (around 100-150) to gain rythm sense, been playing maps by xi or omoi to improve my finger control - no progress even though I've been practicing for many many weeks now - even tried to do rythm training with a metronome for a few weeks.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Should I go stream 80bpm or lower?
Feels so frustrating when aim and speed is improving by the day and finger control hasnt improved in months TwT

bro. do not play 80 bpm. don't even play 150, in my opinion. 160 at a bare minimum. at really low bpms your technique will naturally lean more towards an alting style than how people usually stream. Start from low amounts of notes, not low bpm. triples. ingrain the motion in your mind. then short bursts. work your way up to streams.

streaming and finger control are completely different skills
1) streaming is mostly AIM+READING and steady tapping
2) finger control is the broad category of bursts and some level of stream

since you asked for finger control: play beatmapsets/716441#osu/1517726 types of maps at any BPM you want and just get tapping confidence

aaaa much appreciated!! when training such maps, can I just hop into 5*s to build better tapping as long as acc is 80+ or should i get lower diff with peak acc first?

use acc as a base for improvement

what I usually do is do 90% accuracy for higher speed and then 95% on a lower speed
ex: 250bpm 90%, then 240 on 95%, then 260 on 90% then 250 on 95% and so on

you can do the same for 99% and 95% if you want to farm tapping instead

finger control is not only limited to streaming. You can also found finger control in tech, reading, and alt maps too. As I would understand finger control as being able to tap reliably in whatever tempo and patterns imagineable.

Imo, going as slow as 130 bpm is the hardest point of finger control. Ideally, you want to execute your tapping effortlessly, regardless of tempo. There is nothing much to add here other than to explore more maps, and improve accuracy overtime. With each moment you gain understanding to adjust your own tapping, your reading got improved too.
