i feel that when someone says 'legendary', one would expect something like a pp milestone or something amongst those lines. i mean I do believe they are impressive but for me they are just extending an arbitrary number, though there are obviously some exceptions. but probably the most incredible has got to be...

merami mou ii kai +dt 1 miss

at the time when most pp records are done on aim maps, this play stands out like a sore thumb. honestly don't much about the play when it was set but there was a clear paradigm shift in the pp plays from aim to high bpm streams. not to mention it was set out of nowhere, I mean merami was known to set these kinds of scores but not on this caliber. not the most impressive anymore but at the time this was insane.

Cookiezi's (chocomint) FD4D is the most legendary score ever, and I think the only thing that is remotely comparable is Vaxei's tsukinami DT first 1k.

mrekk's 2k on songs comp, accolibed's 1.7k on sidetracked, as well as his 1.5k on VotD (that got him restricted!!!) and maybe merami's ATH 3 mod among other things deserve a mention, but I don't think that they had as much impact as those first two did (and maybe for reasons that aren't entirely fair/justified).

as for me, it's probably adamqs wing my way 3 mod or cookiezi's FD4D +HDHR score

Yeah, both are incredible plays. I wasn't in the game when Cookiezi did the FD score but I watched it later and man the amount of acc and that it's still the number 1 of the map 8 years after is amazing.

I've never seen the adamqs score, that's really impressive.
