I've been looking forward to buy a drawing tablet after a while of playing osu!, but i don't really know which tablet is the best, especially since I am looking for a cheap one. I've been told to buy the HUION H420 since it is cheap and delivers to my country. Others told me to create a topic about this whole thing.

Should I buy the HUION H420?

I have made this mistake before. Please and absolutely do not buy Huion H420. Pen has a battery which makes it too heavy and working area is too small.

If you're starting out and want to get a tablet anyways, I highly recommend looking at Kuuube's Tablet Buying Guide for second-hand low budget options. They work very well, lasts very long and can costs as little as 5-10 EUR in your local market. If you're looking to play with your pen hover, look for a model with high hover distance like CTL-471/CTL-480. The tablets not listed on this guide are generally not worth taking a look.

If you want best/cheap, buy used and look into it/do research. It pays off and gives you more for less money.

i don't really know the details about HUION H420, but

VEIKK S640 is cheap and also recommended on some youtube videos when i was researching about osu tablets, i personally bought the VEIKK VK640 since it has a little bit higher respond rate and a little bit thicker than VEIKK S640, their price is not that far from each other though.

I personally use the VEIKK S640 and i had no problems with it, it just works and its cheap

I have heard XP-Pen G640 is a better version of Veikk S640 and it's also at a reasonable pricepoint, so maybe also look into that.

You're not the only one that uses arch here, I use arch btw

buy the Gaomon s620, its about the same price as the xp-pen g640 but is generally just better.

but my suggestion is to just save up more money and go straight to the wacom ctl-472, it will cost you 2-3x as much but I promise that it is worth the price.
