Hello everyone! I’m right handed and I used to press arrows with right hand and dash with left hand, unfortunately I got weird issue with my right hand that made my fingers weak as hell, so I can’t play like I could play before :( I’m trying to switch hands, and use left hand for moving and right for dash, but I don’t see result yet… I could fc 6* before my fingers became weak in 2023, with my right hand I can fc only 1,9… I would like to ask if it’s possible to learn to play like that if I’m right handed? Maybe you are using not dominant hand for moving and have good results

I don't think handedness matters much in the long run coming from someone who is left-handed and plays the "standard" way. Switching would be more or less be relearning a lot of the basics I'd imagine so don't expect immediate results and get discouraged if progress isn't apparent. Just try have fun at the end of the day.

Though I'm mildy curious what your "weak hand" situation is about.

I’ll try to explain: this issue started in April 2020, I was just playing standard osu mode, and one day I noticed that I can’t aim well and I started feeling weird tense in my wrist, I tried changing tablet area, my hand spot, but nothing helped and I just gave up. At the beginning of 2022 I tried catch mode and I noticed that I can play this mode well, I was improving and I got 6k+ pp in end of 2022, however, I noticed familiar weakness in fingers again, but while playing catch an pressing arrows :( I was upset as hell, honestly I’m still upset that it happens, it just feels like tense in my wrist and I can’t adjust the strength of pressing, so I can’t press arrows as fast as I could before, also I can say that index finger and thumb are ok but other fingers are not. It happens with my right hand only, for some reason. I tried to visit doctor, but he didn’t find anything in my wrist and also MRE of brain didn’t show anything. I also use side button to scope in shooters instead of rmb, because my weak middle finger can’t press buttons well, so I use thumb.
I’m really sorry if my comment has mistakes, I’m not good at English, but I hope you understood what I meant :)

Now im not play ctb but i also have right hand issue my left hand is more fast than my right one so i just try to reading map more its make my eyes hurt sometime but its my way and also important to warm up your body and do frequently such as wrist stretching to make your nervous system active
But if you change the arrangement of your hands you'll probably need time to adjust

If it's the case that there's genuinely no underlying medical issue at play then I can only assume it's probably a stamina thing or bad hand posturing or both especially if it's that the tense feeling develops overtime while playing but that's only my guess. Worst case scenario it's purely a physical limitation in which you would have to work around.

Whatever the case is if you plan to commit to switching playstyle don't be harsh yourself and try to apply what you've learned so far into your practice to give yourself a headstart.
