Should I play tbt map to improve on taiko because I seen a lot of players getting better at taiko by playing tbt maps. I want to get better at muzu and ing oni

A TBT map helps to familarise with the pattern of 3 notes and 5 notes.
It is essential that helps to prepare for oni difficulties.

As for muzukashii, you do need to understand the pattern of DDD and KKK mostly. There would be sometimes having alternate triplets pattern like DDK or DKD and vice versa, so practising it in TBT also good for this diff.

Sure, if you find them useful. They're not necessary though like I never played pattern practice maps so I have a hard time seeing how it would help when the tough pattern comes up in proper maps.
