This was actually the work of actual practice, which is a rarity for me. I took this map to AR9, then AR9/od8.5, then AR9/od9, then added the HR CS, then AR9.2, then AR9.5, then got this run. I usually am really averse to using this kind of build-up practice myself (even though I know for a fact it works) just because that's how I've played rhythm games for over 10 years now, but it's really refreshing and heartening to know it can actually work, especially for AR10 through HR. If nothing else, I can use this for maps I want to put HR/hd on, and maybe can apply it to ht/dt or hrdt/hd in the future.

Initially I found this kinda fun to play, and it still kinda is. But first there were fucking stupid lag spikes that ate way too many runs (and I still don't know why). THEN my fucking touchpad reactivated out of nowhere (even though the damn thing is FUCKING OFF STILL) which necessitated ANOTHER keyswitch. I did get this (and I might eschew ezdt for the sake of the last two), but god damn I can't catch a break sometimes.

Also I finally ed from 11k into 10k for the first time in my career, less than 1000 ranks to go to 4 digit, my end goal in osu. (my genetics cant take me further)

ty ty! I would utilize lazer's no notelock, but it runs terribly on my low end PC. My aim is a completely different delay from stable and I get lag spikes all over the place. The input delay makes flow aim impossible and it destroys my muscle memory I have in stable because of the input delay difference.

I see. Honestly I kind of agree that lazer runs worse, but everyone (even people in the dev server) loves to insist that that shouldn't be possible!

Thankfully for me that's not a huge problem because I don't play on Lazer (well, not yet).

Just Hikari and Fever Dream left, I believe. Fever Dream will be last becuase I love that song and now I regret making it part of my 100 because I definitely would've wanted the [Insane] map to be one of my finishers instead. [Hard] is still great, but it's kinda only there from, like, 3 years ago when it would've been really difficult for me.

Like, I don't hate HRDT in and of itself. All that really does (and being at high OD) is exacerbate an issue with DT because it makes everything very off-kilter in a way I really can't predict. Or it just fucks me over by making it just a biiiiit too slow/fast than I think for no reason.

Also I forgot to make Hikari NFSO instead of SDSO so I can't get another 190pp play for a bit. Was gonna try to get Drop pop Candy in there but alas.

Got a new top play (436PP), and a 7* (7.24*) FC choke.

The day after I get another 436PP play lol, 7.21* 2 slider ends missed


Couple hours after that I get a 431PP play, 7.01* I missed the last slider

It's a nice instrumental, but AGAIN I must protest how much variance and stupid late/early 100s DT/NC cause. It's just so dumb how I most certainly feel/know I'm playing at the same speed and it s them as late or early for no discernable reason.

That's cool, and yeah, it's my top play. I only brought it up bcz I posted it in this thread and you'd easily see it by scrolling on my profile as well, so it functions well as an analogy.

I had some vague idea you had this goal, but I never realized the counter was related to it (or that you were so close, since frankly most people with similar goals never get very far at all.) Either way, it is a very neat accomplishment, I haven't seen anything like it.

I wholly expect that I'm in a very very exclusive club of people since specifically getting them into your top plays requires a lot of focused effort as opposed to just saying you have 100 unique combos, period.

(As a ancillary goal, I do want to see about both having a submission on every mod combo on one map, as well as having one of each and every mod combo, THEN one of each at least around 100pp. I'm certainly not going for them right now, but they're on my mind. And yes, I mean every single submittable combo, from just NM all the way up to HR/EZ+HD+DT/NC/HT+FL+SO+NF/SD/PF (Relax does give score but doesn't submit).)
