Oh. Guess I ed [Insane] is 220pp on SS and thought that was the bpm.

Still doable, though. I just tried and it wasn't hard to stream speed-wise. My main issue was less on tapping and more on aim.

(oh, and I basically ed it NM. Not close enough to make it "unofficial", but still close enough that I would say it's doable/done.)

edit: Joy. 2-3 hours of attempts with only two runs actually getting to the end of the final stream (though both died at that point), with multiple runs getting over 10M (one with 24M!) before the solo. I can argue that I didn't have enough familiarity with the last chorus to actually get to the end, but at least my final run gave me something I can be semi-proud of. Still totes doable, though.

(also, I'm not kidding. Up until my stamina started failing me, I was comboing most if not all of the first 50-60% of the map easily, and with fairly high acc all things considered.)

100s aside (and a screw-up in Chrous 3, I had only 2 misses in relatively inconsequential parts. Best run by far.

Tell you what. I'm still gonna get 100 mod combos, but if I can either SS or get a 99%+ acc FC on this, Lionheart [Expert], or Glory days [Maki's Extra], I'll make that the point I start dipping into 5*+ even if I don't hit 5-digit by then. If I can get that good a score on any of those, that's perfectly fine by me.

300PP off of 171BPM OD10 streams, this has the potential to be a high 300 or even low 400, but accing it is just insane for me right now. Really proud of this play.

Can't do the same for HOnesty since I reached the very end of the map and I wouldn't be able to fail out of that spinner. I might try to to do that if I happen to get a really good run (like an FC run even if it has lots of 100s).

99% 300pp for HOnesty: 10 100s
99% 300pp for Lionheart [Expert]: 20 100s (I'd lose 99% before 300pp; 300pp is lost at 98% with 35 100s)
99% 300pp for Glory days: 25 100s (same with Lionheart; 300pp is lost at 63 100s)

My personal choice would be to get these in order--Honesty, Lionheart, then Glory days--though I guess I shouldn't complain too much whichever falls into my lap.

probably one of my hardest es.
im new to osu, so i dont really know what to focus on. what should i focus on or what maps should i try playing more?

To be blunt, not 4* maps.

Start with maps in the 2* range and see how you do. If you can manage SS's or high-acc FCs. (higher than 97%), then you can bump up the SR by .3 or so until you reach a point you can barely get 90-95% plays (better than just ing, but worse than FCs). That'll be where you should put your time as that's the outside edge of your comfort zone where you can play competently. Then just keep at it and you'll improve over time.

I became rank #1 in my country today. I've had my eyes on this goal for 4 years. I'm honestly sort of at a loss for words right now this is the most important thing I've ever done in this game.

Not that it's impressive, as I am very bad, but I am also #1 country in catch (and #2 in taiko), so I'm probably one of only a handful of people to be #1 country in several gamemodes at once.

First time I've had a non DT top play since around June 2021. Genetics be damned I'll reach 4 digit no matter what happens. I'll play through RSI if I have to. My stamina flow aim grind is finally starting to pay off after hundreds of hours more than the average person would spend to get to this level.

Compared to Ecogainder, this one was far easier. The spaced shapes were a little tricky, but I actually got myself to track them (especially the final three) so that made it easier.

90 - hr
91-94 - at least two hrht, maybe two ezdt(hd)
95 - hrhdht for top play
one of 96-99 - 4-mod
one of 96-99 - hrhdfl (fixing Survival dance)
one of 96-99 - probably more hrht
99 - hrhddt
100 - hdsd for top play

This, of course, will probably chance over time, but I do really want to get a 4-mod play and that hrhdfl play. Survival dance is so short that I'm willing to put in the grind even with FL (although the AR0 is going to be a pain), and 4-mod is also gonna be short (Yuurei gives 150pp, thankfully or else I'd have no shot). Rest is self-explanatory.
