If you want to help and take part of SOFT as a staff member you can now send your application by clicking here and completing the form. that applicating for a staff position doesnt mean you cant play in the tournament as only the map selectors arent allowed to play.

We want to make sure that every point earned by players count, so we've made some changes to the early stages of the tournament. Player positions in the bracket will now be defined based on group stage performance.
The way this works is fairly simple, each group has 2 players that will qualify to the bracket stage. Those being the 1st and 2nd of this particular group. Given that we will have 16 different groups, we will have 16 players qualifying as 1st and 16 players qualifying as 2nd, which will all be re-seeded depending on their group stage performances.

The way this last re-seed works is again not very complicated. Whoever has the most amount of won matches and the best Win/Lose ratio will qualify as the #1 seed of the first group (which includes all the 1st place players of each group). This player will be facing the #16 seed of the other group (composed by all the 2nd place players of each group). This way your performance on Group Stage becomes crucial as it will determinate how hard your bracket will be in theory, and this also rewards players for overperforming as they shouldn't have a very strong opponent in the early rounds.
