Problem Details:
While the Cinema Mod is active I noticed i could still see a spinner change the lighting slightly of the map. I then focused and noticed that i could see all the hit objects.

It is Hard to see without it being animated(no video capture software sorry), I had to turn my monitor to the side so the contrast would be better.



osu! version: 20141204.2cuttingedge (i realize it says cuttingedge but this is not what i am using at the moment.)

You can OBS and use that to record, those screenshots shows nothing.

I can actually see it quite clearly in the screenshots.
2 vertical rows of squares at each side and a sharp claw-looking spinner in the middle.

Not sure if this was directed at me or the OP, but while my eyesight itself is quite bad,
I'm very sensitive to slight shifts in colour (immediately notice any tinting and 'nuances' like in the screenshot).

You're not the only once who can notice slight shifts in color

Can you link the map so I can try it?

As well as your skin

I'm using Aesthetic and on this map [Terror] the effect is really obvious.

Happens in OpenGL and DirectX for me

My Eyes are very bad, but when it was moving on the screen it was very noticeable to me at least.

Confirmed. It happens after the second spinner in the map 02:21:889 -

do you still need my skin, I am having trouble ing anything atm.

Apparently a fix for something different has caused this to happen. There's no simple way to fix this.
