i dont know how long this has been happening, but last time i tried to connect was about a week ago and i couldnt connect back then already, i thought it was just a one time problem but today i tried to connect again and i still cant connect. it says

If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

and it's on both windows 7 and ubuntu, at different places.

This can be a solution since it uses https

A security issue was reported with the current implementation of web chat, so I removed it for the time being. It may return in the near future.

The link to the web chat in the header should be temporarily removed to avoid any confusion I think.
