1.1.2 will be released within the next days, it will consist of a few more languages, lots of performance improvements and some other cool stuff like a update notification inside the status bar, there is also a er included, the update is ing and installing itself with only one click of a button. Of course you won't see it until the update after that, haha.
The next "bigger" content update will be 1.1.3, it will include osu!tp , it shouldn't take too long after the release of 1.1.2.
I need to adjust a few things to implement it correctly, if nothing goes wrong, that is.
Thats all, just a few news.

Reworked AutoUpdate!
The system behind the AutoUpdate for completly reworked, I hope everything works out fine, I spend a few days testing it without trouble, please tell me if anything is odd.
If there is an update, you will now also be noticed inside the notification bar, so you don't need to frequently open the app itself.

But don't worry, you will be able to update just fine, only the Notification outside of osu!Rank won't work. So if you get a ForceClose without running osu!Rank, that means there is an update... yea, this is ofc fixed within the next version. There won't be any damage due to this, so don't worry. (This applies most likely for 3.2 Honeycomb [SDK 13] and 4.0.3/4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich [SDK 15])

So, lets see, I just finished up the last things for 1.1.3. I am sorry it took longer than expected, but I wanted to test the features throughly.

If you have no idea what osu!tp is, just check the site and look around a little: osutp.net
Special thanks to Pancake at this point, who provided me with data and information.
There is also a special background included for the Icon-Widget.

The next update might take a while, I want to rework the interface again, making it look better and easier to handle.

This is a problem within the API of osu!, its already been reported there, it should work if you use his ID instead until then:

After you searched for his ID once, osu!Rank will his name and connect it with the ID.
I will think of a workaround if this API based bug stays like this.

MainActivity rework!
I reworked the interface of the application a little bit, but its far from finished. I will most likely go on another approach by making multiple application layouts selectable for the , feel free to voice your thoughts.
But I am not sure if this will be done within the next update.
I will also consider Maxorqs layout suggestion there.

Auto scrolling
I just did this by accident really, but I liked it and kept it.
Basicly, its scrolling through the events (and also translators on the Activity) if they are exceeding the length of the screen.
If you don't like it, there is an option to turn it of inside the "Settings".

When searching you are now able to see the country flag of the , you can turn this off inside the "Settings".
I also included a workaround for the country rank, until its implemented inside the API.

Small Widget changes
The mode now has the same color as the Rank and should now be correctly behind the other data, rather than infront of it.

To do that, just long press the drop down menu itself and it will "select" it for query.
One other thing:
For those enjoying the random function too much, you can now "lock" the "Set Widget" and "Search" button by long pressing the random button.
Make them usable by long pressing it again.
Just a small thing, but it should help those people that got annoyed by missclicking while pressing random several times.

I included the Italian translation by Roxas in this version, big thanks to him for that.
Almost all translations are up to date right now, great job everyone.
I marked the ones missing with an "*" inside the language menu.

In my phone everything looks in order at first but notice they all display different rank changes.
In the tablet version wide and normal widget are both 3x1, in the pic, s at the right side must be wide. And notice level progress bar is exceeding the widget size at the bottom, making a bad sight.
Maybe you can make the text a little bigger for the tablet to fill the empty space if thats possible.

This is not really a bug, the widgets update independently of each other. As stated, the rank change is from the last time you "checked", as in "touched" the Widgets. So if you don't "check" the widgets, the "Rank changed" will increase/decrease naturally.

I see what you mean, about the "Wide " and "" Widget thing. I will look into it. And for the level bar, this will be fixed, I am using the default loading bar right now, but I wanted to do my own levelbar long ago, it will be updated eventually.
(This will also fix the "bending" problem some people have)

Are you looking inside your "Apps"-menu? There should be something like a "Widgets"-tab. You can't create them from within the application itself, so they should be there somewhere.
Basically, drag & drop a Widget from that menu, go into the application and set the desired for it.

So the statement in the FAQ is not correct anymore.
(I will fix the FAQ sometime.)
Further details about this will be announced in the future.
(I'll post some more screens of the development process eventually.)
UPDATE: This problem has been fixed, the solution was to the app through the computer and then transfer it over to the phone manually.

It seemed to be a problem with the browser breaking the file while ing, which was "Google Chrome" in that case.
So if anybody else gets that problem, either try another browser or transfer it from the PC.

Translators can now access a pre-build version of it the usual way, it will be eventually updated with the translations for testing purpose.
No estimated time for public release yet, but if you want to help testing it just me.

I seem to have the problem of random force close messages when I'm not even in the app. My phone would freeze for a few seconds.
I'm using an xperia V. It only started happening when I updated it. But solvable by opening up the app and then pressing home a few times.

If you want something changed, just change it inside the translator interface. It will be in the next version then.
(After everything important is done I might consider adding "Live translations". Everything you change would directly be accessible without a new application version.)
Other than that only small bug fixes, nothing new really.

I will release the next update like always, so just lean back and wait until osu!Rank tells you that it wants to update.
You will also receive a message from osu!Rank as soon as I release it on the Play Store, so don't worry about anything.

I decided to cut some planned features of the version and instead include them in the next one, as it would take even longer to finish it.
Almost all of the translations are done, so this is going smooth as well.
If you also want to contribute go ahead and PM me, same goes for correction of existing translations.

About The Infamous Sony Xperia Bug, it has been fixed and is available in the test version, me if you can't bear the wait anymore.

I finally wrapped everything up to a release-ready state.
This update is changing quite a lot, here a compilation of the most important changes.

New style!
Almost everything got a new style now, I reworked the Widgets quite a bit and totally cleaned up the application itself.
It feels way more smooth now, you might notice that I moved a lot of content around to other places.
The new "Search History" will most likely be removed and replaced with a "Favorites" button, depending on the .

The new version looks great! Can confirm that the xp bar bug is fixed. Some s though:
[Bug] Pressing the back button on my phone does not quit the application, it brings up the settings page instead. Happend on my HTC Evo 3D (Android 4.0 ICS)
[Suggestion] The new random icon isn't very "intuitive" graphically when compared to the old dice. While the new icon is nice and sharp, imo the dice would be more self-explanatory.
[Translation] The Chinese (both) translation of "Event Days" is meaningless due to a misunderstanding of where it's used. I'll try to fix it asap.

I'm really loving it, i will carry my widget always haha, at the moment for me is working properly, including the widget, the minor bug is the known issue about the back button but well.. it's a minor bug
