Volunteering Mentors

• Mapper Malaysia yang pernah dapat "Ranked Beatmap" boleh dianggap sebagai mentor, sesiapa yang tidak mempunyai "Ranked Beatmap" lagi boleh pilih sesiapa antara semua di dalam list bawah ini sebagai mentor anda. Anda boleh tanya tentang timing,cara mapping dan soalan-soalan lain tentang mapping.
  Jangan segan. Pasti ramai daripada kamu semua kenal kami :p

• Any Malaysian mapper who has at least a Ranked Beatmap can be considered as a mentor. Those who do not, can request for anyone in the following to be your mentor. Feel free to seek timing, style/pattern and general mapping advice from them! Don't be shy. I am sure you know most of us already :p

• Ingat! Dapat mentor tak bermakna anda dapat hamba modder peribadi. Mentor akan tolong anda berdasarkan pengalaman dengan usaha mapping dan mengikut cara mapping anda.

• Bear in mind! Having a mentor does not mean you will have your own personal modding slave. Your mentor will help you the best he/she can with your mapping efforts, catering to your style and how you like to map, using their experience to guide and assist you.

I had meant, setakat aku faham dari OP, HeatKai ni nak galakkan lebih ramai pemain Malaysia jadi mapper kan? Kalau ya, what are the planned initiatives?

Are you:

1. Just listing Malaysians with at least a graveyarded/pending map?
2. Looking for mappers to collab with?

Or for the more serious stuff, are you planning to:

1. Form a modding circle i.e. help mod their maps and maybe get them to mod each others'?
2. Get/assign the more experienced mappers to guide new mappers à la mentor system?

etc.?

klu sy, xleh la nk buat map sgt, tambah pula sy cuma guna netbook kecik ja main osu! ni.. resolution game pun cuma yg paling kecik ja (~600p) so saya bergantung pd awk sume je la utk membuat mapnya, k?

I guess when Heatkai comes back we can add a maplist and mentors and make this the best mapper club ever but he's not going to be back for a while

we can revive the thread again if mappers are going to use it, but it might take some times to update the list, since we've lost track of new mappers.

Actually I knew a few new malaysian mappers. But yeah you're right, its hard to track those new mappers , bcoz some of them dont even the FB Group or #malaysian channel LOL

for starters, kita listkan active mappers yg ada latest ranked mapset/GD map. Kalau ada sesiapa yang kenal mana2 Malaysian mappers, boleh reply kat sini. After that HeatKai boleh update list tu.
Kalau sorang dua je yang tekun mencari mappers2 ni memang ambik masa la nak update (just sayin') :3

hmm, i think it would be awesome to add list of mapper for other gamemodes too. aku rasa mania ada banyak jugak mapper baru. not sure about taiko tho since I nampak only jerry is the most active in taiko mapping for now. as for ctb pulak, i can give a list of mappers yang dah rank at least 1 guest difficulty up until now.
