First of all, after reading my post again I noticed it could strike as rude, for that I apologize.
Now, the flags can be manually changed (along with the scores) and that's the purpose of this particular topic. The person in charge of doing so is mm201 but is clear by now that this is not a priority for him, and taking into that mm201 is a dev, I assume he has more pressing matters than changing flags.

What I actually don't understand is why this isn't locked yet, requests are pilling up ( both legit ones, and nonsense) and nothing is really happening besides you, me, and some others posting over and over again wondering whats going on (that, and 1 day s asking for flags they already have)

That line makes this thread sound as a decoy and nothing else... but at least now I know the delay is not accidental.

I have to agree in the fact that half the requests are made up, I checked many of them out of curiosity, just adding the person as friend does the trick, I don't think most players would (or even could) use a proxy to play osu!, it's not as simple as to set a web browser proxy and I assume it would lag terribly. That doesn't mean that there are not serious ones. I also know people who created new s just to have the flag they wanted.

He was just using a language as his first language to prove what he's actually living. But will that ever going to get their flags changed quickly?

This I will say might strike as ignorant, but, couldn't an auto-detect feature for the flags be implemented? Not in the forums, since it's easy to proxy off, but what about in-game? I don't think anyone would go through the hassle of using a proxy in-game, at least, not every single play. Would it load the server too much? Is it impossible to implement?

I don't delude myself thinking this is imperative (a glimpse at this thread is enough) I would just like to know if it's possible.
