Problem Details: I was just randomly looking through my beatmaps and noticed my little beatmap projects that I have not submitted don't have thumbnails. Is this intentional or an error?

With my other submitted project, the thumbnails appear as all the others do. (Note the two songs have the same background.)

i think that's normal because the beatmap load external thumbnail (as you can see on the beatmap page)
not internal thumbnail so you will be not see any thumbnail of your beatmap because the beatmap are not submitted and not have any page to load the external thumbnail, but if you wanna have a thumbnail of your beatmap just submit your beatmap.

For the sake of consistency it shouldn't matter. I'm not sure how fixable it is though.

Beatmap thumbnail is ed from web rather than using local copy, so its kinda intended.

The game could generate local thumbnails for unsubmitted maps. The images are cached locally anything I presume.

I heard of plans for making thumbnails local instead of via online, but I not sure where I heard it.
