Great Skin :3

I noticed that your pause and fail background are up-scaled and that the black side bars are appearing on the side in the screenshots, so I assume you're using default image source itself without any touch ups or that it wasn't resized to fit the entire window.

If you want to cover the entire window, then naturally you'll have to upscale it which causes a large issue if the default image you're working with is small and you want HD . If I correctly if you want SD and HD you'd want 1366X768 for SD and 2732X1536 for HD. There is a cushion though regarding the quality loss. Photoshops up-scaling is bad as the quality loss is very noticeable especially when you're up-scaling an image more than twice its size so I found a better program for this which is Perfect Resize (google it. use the trial version). Of course if you still want to use Photoshop still then that's fine but you'll have to do more work. Generally up-scaling is a last resort if you cant find any that's big enough.
I'll be using this picture as an example:
The picture itself is less than half the size required for HD so you'll have to upscale it. The picture is 1000X731 and if you want widescreen SD then you'll need 1366X768. The impact with up-scaling it isn't really much so there's not much to worry about. But let's say you want HD since your screenshots look like you want HD. So now it'll be up-scaled almost 3 times its size since it needs to be 2732X1536.

So now you either use Perfect Resize (not perfect but better than Photoshop at least) or stick with Photoshop/GIMP or whatever program you use and up-scale it to 2732X1536. You'll notice that the quality loss is huge (obviously). If you used Perfect Resize then make sure to tick "edit as copy" so it'll save it as a .psd file and you can open it with Photoshop afterwards. You may have to cut some of the excess canvas size after up-scaling so it'll be 2732X1536.

The rest is up to your Photoshopping skills. If you have Topaz Labs (Topaz Clean, Denoise, and adjust) then those help a lot.
I did a quick adjustment. Since it's HD pause then we'll name it [email protected].
I had to save it as jpg since the size for png was 21 mb and would take forever to load. I only did a quick touch up so the quality can be better but this is where the quality loss is very noticable. That's fine. Assuming that just about 98% of the people here don't have a resolution of 2732X1536 and at most 1920X1080 then osu! will downscale the image and the quality should be better.

If you want to go ahead and use or test the quick image touch up then it's here. It has the SD and HD sizes.

Well WWW gets a lot of messages so it would have been known that you wouldn't get a reply pretty fast.
I bet he would have approved but who knows. Anyway indeed you have to replace them at the moment until you can get his permission.

I suggest making the combo colors lighter (maybe pastel colors) to fit the theme of the skin. Maybe making the score numbers the same font as the ones for the default numbers would be a bit cuter (maybe for hit0.png, hit50.png, and hit100.png/hit100k.png too).

There are a few things that are a bit low in quality:
-Mod icons
-The little character on scorebar-bg.png
-menu-back.png
-inputoverlay-background.png

The alternative menu-button-background.png needs to be fixed since there are pixels sticking out on the top corners. Also the skin.ini is a bit messed up- at least for me.



Might want to fix it as well if someone else has the same problem.

Sorry to hear that you hate anime characters, but can you stop posting negative comments on people's skin? I went to check the forum just now and I saw your comments on other threads; even if you tell them that it's horrible and hate or whatever it's not going to change anything so please just stop.

Why are you even commenting on a skin you dislike, there are other skins in the forums. Go elsewhere

Skins that does not conform to your taste, you should not write a negative review. And no one is forcing it to use. Take the other skin that you like and keep the flap. Most s may like to female anime characters. The author really made the effort to make good skins and takes a lot of work.

If I do not suits me the skins in my taste, I am not writing a post. I look at it and you're done.

1. ranking-accuracy tells me that it is not fitable for the font with ranking-combo.
2. section-fail? I'd prefer a red border color. Just need to know that some players need to know are they or fail.
3. the cursor is really small from the cursortrail. I suggest you make a new cursor only and see wheter it fits with cursortrail properly.
4. why not change the color of the glow into other colors rather than white

aaa yes that ranking-accuracy...
I tried using red for the section-fail before while doing test-runs for the skin... I thought it would be easier to identify if it was red but it didn't look as nice as blue (but since you pointed it out, i guess i'll be changing it)
the cursor was actually inspired from another skin but oh well i'm gonna make alternatives then :3
hmm i don't really know what colour to change to, my sense of colour is terrible sometimes ;-; and since it is shiropro i guess white would be a good idea? i seem to like the simplicity
