At 1.0 spacing, the mouse moves the same speed on sliders and in between circles because the distance between the start of the slider and the end of the slider is the same as the distance between two circles of the same timing. 1.2 spacing makes you have to move 20% faster on circles than on sliders (and considering this SV - definitely not a good idea).Side note: HeatKai said changes will be made to the end of the taiko so please allow those changes to be made before rank.

Miya

2,690 posts

ed June 2011

Topic Starter

Miya

2012-06-20T17:14:09+00:00

So you want me to change whole spacing at the normal diff? I don't want to do that because it's same with remap. Besides it's just suggestion. If i said no, don't force me to do that. Fixing spacing doesn't take too much work in general, the only challenge is keeping patterns looking neat and as they were. Just because it's a suggestion doesn't mean you shouldn't consider it and try it out, the least you could do is open your mind to the possibility that this may very well make this map one hundred percent better than it is now. Normal difficulties are definitely for new players. Do you not yourself as a beginner player thinking you had become so good within only a fragment of time to eventually move up to normal style diffs? If a player came around and played this, would they not be shocked at the difficulty curve here? You should aim for a smooth transition, not a choppy one. The difference between side-by-side difficulties should not at all be shocking. Just because there are a lot of normal difficulties out there above 4 stars does not give you the excuse to produce maps that are ridiculously hard to play when they should be easy. You should be setting a good example by making maps that are actually enjoyable, not rage worthy.

Miya

2,690 posts

ed June 2011

Topic Starter

Miya

1k6939
