Seemingly simple enough premise, but with a flawless and amazing execution. Sure, each episode can be watched standalone but the more you progress you find in how each of the cases intertwine among each other; it's not the most surprising or mind-bending use of non-linear storytelling, rather, it tries to convey how people are attached to each other, how each one's problems have repercussions in people around us, and how it tells us that, while other people have their problems, that does not mean you should ignore your own.I am simply amazed by the existence of this series as being one of the best written dramas I have seen in an anime, with the underlying message of "nobody is perfect". Kuuchuu Buranko has a cast (outside the main ones) who are written realistically and believable, and even if the character development is basically on one episode, it is done greatly enough to emphasize how healing takes place, or who knows, just learning to live with your own mental afflictions could be enough in case of incurable ones. My only complaint is, just like it hapenned with Mononoke, is that it was too short and I would have loved to see conditions like depression, adhd or schizophrenia being treated, still, it's simply phenomenal and unique, and a series I will love.

"Ha-ha Oroka desu ne"Numbers

Patatitta

1,332 posts

ed February 2020

Patatitta

2024-11-19T07:07:15+00:00

oshi no ko: 6/10: start is acceptable, middle is mid, ending is a plane crash (as it undermines the start)

Discord de CTB España | OT!eras | Patatitta's analysis corner

worst eu player

163 posts

ed December 2015

Topic Starter

worst eu player

2024-12-03T05:52:23+00:00

𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 Baby Steps 8.5/10Himawari-san 7.3/10By Hero 7/10Anadorenai ne Kitami-kun 6.5/10Butterfly 6.5/10Boku wa Uchuujin ni Koi wo Shita 6.4/10Angelic Syndrome 6/10Ben-To Zero: Road to Witch 6/10 Biyaku Kyoushi ~ Jikkenshitsu no Himegoto 5.7/10Benkei in New York 5/10Caramel Diary 4.9/10Chagecha 3/10Binkan Kiss 2/10ok bye.
𝐌𝐀𝐋

Patatitta

1,332 posts

ed February 2020

Patatitta

2024-12-04T10:56:19+00:00

Aku no Hana: 7/10: this mf cant writebloon the tracks: 9/10: nvm

Discord de CTB España | OT!eras | Patatitta's analysis corner

Nuuskamuikkunen

1,263 posts

ed March 2013

Nuuskamuikkunen

2024-12-07T15:31:10+00:00

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Movie 3: Hangyaku no Monogatari 8/10Again the "confusing, depressing, but beautiful movie sequel" attacking again, I'd have been incredibly angry if this was the actual end of Madoka lmao. The story was made even more confusing, something I think it was not really needed, as it feels like everything was being done on the fly just to give more lore to Madoka. My only problem with it, is how vague is the overall story. It's one of those where many of the things are left to your interpretation, which isn't bad by itself, but being this a half-hour story, some themes feel half-baked. Still a worthwhile short.

"Ha-ha Oroka desu ne"Numbers

Patatitta

t1o3i
