so basically whenever I play taiko you need to hit the same color twice right to hit the big notes, people keep saying it's my keyboard that's the problem I'm not sure if it's true because I always played with this keyboard on my old laptop and there was nothing wrong with it and my gameplay was normal not until I got my new gaming laptop was where I started to have this problem, even though I'm hitting the big notes correctly it doesn't count as 300 2x >:'( I don't have this issue in osu!lazer at all it all hits normally, and I already tried playing on my laptop keyboard as well still the same outcome in lazer as my keyboard but when I play on osu! it still doesn't work BUT the thing is RARELY it will hit the big notes, I play on my 2nd monitor because it's bigger than my laptop monitor though it's only 75hz and my laptop has 165hz, when I start playing on my laptop monitor that's where I hit the big notes but not consistently but I get to hit it more frequently which is WEIRD I don't understand what's going on I already tried everything, I reinstalled osu! and changed the settings on osu! and my monitor I still can't figure out the problem T_T

I hope no one get's a stroke reading this LOL

edit: I forgot to say I have a tournament coming soon so I wanted to fix this before the qualifiers begin in a week >-<

Couple theories...

1. Maybe the keyboard doesn't multiple clicks/slow to clicks
2. Any stutters happening when the big notes come? That happened to me once...
3. Offset problem?

LOL sorry I should've spaced it out

1. I have no idea how I'm gonna test this one out because it's totally fine with playing mania and playing taiko on lazer, it's just the osu stable that's somehow the problem but at the same time like I said it sometimes work so I have no idea if it's actually my keyboard that's the problem or it's somehow osu stable

2. no stutters at all actually, never went through that

3. I actually already tried changing my offset a lot of times and the problem is still there

still thank you for actually replying to my forum post ToT I was starting to lose hope that someone would reply cause I've posted about this problem on the osu! Game discord server as well and no one could figure out the problem LOL sometimes I just started to think I didn't reinstall osu stable properly Y_Y

If you tried everything, try asking in the help forums. They answer pretty quick.

There's a chance you're hitting them fine and its just not showing.

I've found that it only shows the 2x if you perfectly time both hits together, if your UR bar shows the inputs on it from two taps you should be hitting and getting the points from them just fine.
